专利说明:

The handle device according to the invention saves space because no free space around the handle portion is required when the door is closed. When the door is closed, the handle portion can be close to the door and the vehicle body. Furthermore, no bracket is needed for the other end portion of the handle portion in the vehicle body.
The handle portion and its first bracket can be arranged so that they do not obscure a driver's view, in case the device is placed in a driver's environment.
When the door is opened, the other bracket and the other end part of the handle part follow with the door out. In this position, the handle portion extends from the interior of the vehicle body to the door outside the vehicle body. This creates a free space around the handle section. The handle device can be designed so that the free space created around the handle portion when the door is opened corresponds to regulations. The handle device can furthermore be designed so that the statutory space around the handle portion is created with a bang when the door is open, at the same time as the handle device takes up little space when the door is closed.
Since the second bracket and the other end of the handle portion accompany the door, the handle portion can be oriented inclined relative to the vertical plane when the door is open. This inclination can facilitate the entry and exit of a vehicle user, especially if the handle device is an entry handle in, for example, a truck. When used in a truck cab, the invention can be described as a movable entry handle.
The handle portion is advantageously an elongate rod-like object, which can provide the user with support when the user moves, for example, along the distance into or out of a vehicle.
The handle device is suitably designed so that the handle portion is arranged inside the vehicle body when the door is closed. In this position, the handle portion is substantially parallel to the pivot axis of the door. The pivot axis of the door here means a shaft extending through the link (s) connecting the door and the vehicle body.
The handle device can be designed so that the longitudinal direction of the handle portion substantially coincides with the pivot axis of the door. This applies in particular when the door is closed, but to a large extent also when the door is open.
Advantageously, the two brackets are placed next to the pivot axis of the door, so that the handle portion is arranged adjacent to the vehicle body and the door when the door is closed. As a result, the handle device only takes up little space when the door is closed. The two brackets can be placed at substantially the same distance from the pivot axis of the door when the door is closed.
The first bracket may be arranged to rotatably hold the handle portion so that the handle portion can rotate about an axis which is substantially perpendicular to the pivot axis of the door. In this way, a relatively uncomplicated joint, for example a single joint, can be used at the first bracket. Alternatively, a ball joint, which allows movements in several directions, can be used at the first bracket.
The second bracket can be arranged to rotatably and slidably hold the handle portion, so that the second bracket substantially only absorbs forces which act across the longitudinal direction of the handle portion.
By the above-mentioned design of the first and second brackets, the first bracket can take up substantially all the load in the longitudinal direction of the handle portion. If the first bracket is arranged above the second bracket, the handle portion is not subjected to any compressive load, which is advantageous from a strength point of view.
A further advantage is that the second bracket can be given a simple design, and that a well-defined power transmission between the handle portion and the vehicle body and door, respectively, is achieved. 10 15 20 25 30 Instead of designing the second bracket displaceably, i.e. so that the handle portion can move in its longitudinal direction through the second bracket, the handle portion can be telescopic.
According to a simple design, the second bracket is a hole. In case the door is a driver's door, the hole may be occupied in the inside of the driver's door, for example in the side of the door. The hole may be provided with a plain bearing or a rubber bushing.
The handle portion may comprise a substantially curved angle section at the end held by the first bracket. The end held by the first bracket can in this way be oriented substantially perpendicular to the pivot axis of the door. In this way, a relatively uncomplicated single joint can be used as the first bracket in a simple and reliable manner.
The handle device may comprise a double-curved section substantially in the middle of the handle portion. This provides a practically curved grip for the user, at the same time as the free space around the handle portion is extended when the door is open. The two bends may be opposite to each other and substantially perpendicular, so that the longitudinal direction of the curved grip portion is substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the handle portion.
Finally, the object of the invention has been achieved by a vehicle cab and a vehicle with a handle device as above. The vehicle cab may comprise an instrument panel and the vehicle cab door may comprise a door side, the handle portion being arranged in a indentation or lowering in the door side and / or the instrument panel when the door is closed. The indentation or lowering only needs to be done in the door side or the instrument panel, and can be of the same dimension as the handle portion.
DESCRIPTION OF THE FIGURES The invention is described in more detail below with reference to exemplary embodiments and the accompanying figures, in which figure 1 schematically shows a perspective view of a first embodiment of a handle device 1 according to the present invention, a vehicle body 10 and a door 15, and figure 2 schematically a second embodiment of the handle device 1 with a curved end section 8 and a double-curved section 9, a vehicle body and a door.
DESCRIPTION OF EMBODIMENTS The present invention can be used in a variety of fields. In principle, it can be applied in connection with all kinds of hinged doors or doors.
Figure 1 illustrates the handle device 1 mounted on a truck. A vehicle body 10, or truck cab, is shown in perspective obliquely from behind. In the upper and front part of the cab, the left part of a windscreen 11 is illustrated. To the left of the figure is a door 15 attached to the cab 10 with a side window 16. As mentioned above, truck cabs often also include a rear entry handle, on the opposite side of a doorway. In connection with figure 1, only a front entry handle is described.
The handle device 1 comprises a handle portion 3 and a first, hereinafter referred to as upper, bracket 5. This upper bracket 5 holds the upper end portion 3 'of the handle portion 3 to the cab 10. A second, hereinafter called lower, bracket 7 holds the lower handle portion 3 lower end portion 3 ”at the door 15. In figure 1 the door 15 is shown in open position, the handle portion 3 extending from the interior of the cab 10 to the door 15, i.e. the outside of the cab 10.
As already mentioned, Figure 1 is only schematic. Generally, in truck cabs 10 below the windscreen 11 there is an instrument panel projecting in the direction of the driver, i.e. towards the viewer of figure 1. Furthermore, the inside of the door 15 is clad with a door side, schematically designated 17 in figure 1, protrudes in the direction of the cab 10. When the door 15 is closed, the handle portion 3 is arranged between the door side 17 and the instrument panel, or more precisely between the door side and the side of the instrument panel facing the door. An advantage of the present invention is that only a very small space for the handle portion 3 has to be provided between the door side 17 and the instrument panel. This space can be in the form of an elongated indentation or lower in the door side and / or the instrument panel. The indentation or depression extends substantially parallel to the pivot axis A1 of the door (see Figure 2), i.e. in the vertical direction in Figure 1.
In figure 1, the door 15 is open. It will be appreciated that when the door 15 is closed, the handle portion 3 is arranged substantially parallel to the pivot axis of the door 15.
When the door 15 is open, as in Figure 1, the handle portion 3 is inclined relative to the axis of rotation of the door, however, the longitudinal direction of the handle portion 3 still coincides substantially with the axis of rotation of the door 15.
As also shown in figure 1, the two brackets 5, 7 are placed next to the pivot axis of the door. More specifically, the lower bracket 7 is arranged at the bottom of the door, next to the joint between the door 15 and the cab 10. The upper bracket 5 is arranged on the side wall of the cab 10 next to the same joint. The upper bracket 5 is arranged on an A-pillar to the left of the windscreen 11. In height, the upper bracket 5 is advantageously placed substantially in the middle of the windscreen. However, the invention enables relatively free placement of the upper bracket 5 in height, but it has been found that the area between the lower edge of the windscreen 11 and the roof is suitable. Since both brackets 5, 7 are located next to the joint between the door and the cab, the handle portion 3 is kept adjacent to the vehicle body 10 and the door 15 when the door is closed.
The lower bracket 7 is illustrated in Figure 1 as a hole in the door 15. In fact, the hole 7 is received in the door side 17. For this purpose, the door side, which usually consists of a plastic cover, can be reinforced in the area of the hole 7. The hole can also be provided with a rubber bushing or a sliding bearing, for the purpose of stably and displaceably bearing the lower end portion 3 "of the handle portion 3. The slidable bearing of the handle portion 3 is intended to absorb the movement assigned to the handle portion 3. when the door 15 is opened and closed. When the door 15 is closed, the lower end portion 3 "of the handle portion 3 is pushed down into the door side.
An alternative to the slidable storage of the handle portion 3 in the door is that the handle portion is telescopically designed. The handle portion then consists of two parts of different diameters, where one part can be pushed into the other.
The upper bracket is now described with reference to Figure 2, although the upper bracket operates according to the same principle in Figure 1. Figure 2 shows an embodiment of the handle device where the handle portion comprises an upper bend 8 and a double bend 9 substantially in the middle of the handle portion. Only the upper bend 8 and the double bend 9 are in Fig. 2 provided with reference numerals, for other parts reference numerals reference is made to Fig. 1. In Fig. 2 a line A1 through the joint connecting the vehicle body 10 and the door 15, i.e. the pivot shaft A1 of the door 15, is illustrated. . The dashed line A2 refers to an axis perpendicular to the pivot axis A1 of the door.
Figure 2, like figure 1, can be thought of as illustrating the handle device 1 mounted on a truck cab. In figure 2, however, the windscreen and the side window have been excluded, so that figure 2 is more similar to the rear end of a truck and an open rear door.
This is to emphasize that the invention can be applied in several areas.
Figure 2 shows that the upper bracket 5 holds the handle portion so that it can rotate about an axis A2 which is substantially perpendicular to the pivot axis A1 of the door. The axis of rotation A2 of the upper end portion 3 'of the handle portion coincides in Figure 2 with the direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the truck. In Figure 1, the axis of rotation A2 of the upper end portion 3 'of the handle portion substantially coincides with the longitudinal direction of the truck.
The upper bracket 5 can be designed in several ways, its task being to hingedly hold the upper end portion 3 "of the handle portion 3. The upper bracket must absorb forces in the longitudinal and transverse direction of the handle portion 3. In the example shown in Figure 2, the upper end of the handle portion 3 is curved substantially 90 °, so that the end portion 3 'is arranged perpendicular to the pivot axis A1 of the door. A single joint is arranged to store the upper end portion 3 ”of the handle portion 3”. Said joint is formed by the upper end portion 3 'of the handle portion 3 and a sleeve (not shown) surrounding the end portion 3 ”.
The sleeve may comprise a rubber bushing (not shown), so that the upper bracket 5 allows a certain deviation from a rotation about the axis A2 perpendicular to the pivot axis A1 of the door. Such a deviation can occur as a result of the circular bracket-like movement of the lower bracket 7 when the door 15 is opened. The upper bracket can also be designed as a ball joint.
The handle portion in figure 2 comprises a double curved section 9, which is formed by two adjacent and opposite perpendicular curves. The double-curved section 9, together with the upper bend 8, means that the handle portion 3 is displaced a distance from the pivot axis A1 of the door. This increases the free space around the handle portion, or rather the part of the handle portion that the user grips, when the door 15 is open. It will be appreciated that the double-curved section 9 and the upper bend 8 can be applied independently of each other. The handle portion 3 may, for example, comprise the upper bend 8, but otherwise be straight, i.e. without double-curved section 9.
The double-curved section 9 is advantageously placed substantially in the middle of the handle portion 3, or at least somewhere between the middle of the handle portion 3 and its lower end. At the bottom of the handle portion 3 a straight piece is needed which enables movement in and out of the lower bracket 7. If the handle portion 3 is designed telescopically, this movement is not required in the longitudinal direction of the handle portion, and the double bend 9 can be placed at the bottom of the handle portion.
